Rubén J. Cruz

Rubén J. Cruz, owner and founder of Cruz & Associates, has dedicated his successful career to helping injured victims and workers since 1989. Rubén is passionate about helping victims and workers obtain fair financial compensation so that they can put their injuries behind them and securely move forward with their lives.

Rubén has a broad range of trial and negotiation experience resolving complex disputes involving worker’s compensation, wrongful death, personal injury, motor vehicle and trucking accidents, and premises liability. Rubén is an experienced trial attorney licensed to practice in Georgia, Arizona, and Florida. Rubén has recovered over 150 million in compensation for personal injury and workers' compensation victims.

Rubén is an active member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Workers Compensation Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association. He frequently attends and instructs educational seminars to sharpen his negotiation, trial, and litigation skills to better serve his personal injury and worker’s compensation clients. He recently taught courses titled "Representing Claims Involving Foreign Nationals" and "Representing Undocumented Workers In Georgia".

In addition to his active involvement in professional organizations, Rubén is extremely involved in his community. Rubén helps those in need by donating time and resources to numerous charitable organizations such as Kid’s Chance, the March of Dimes, Doctor’s without Boarders, United Way, and Habitat for Humanity.

Rubén completed his undergraduate education at the Georgia Institute of Technology where he attended on a tennis scholarship. He then went on to earn a MBA at Georgia State University. Rubén additionally studied law at Georgia State University where he earned his J.D. in 1989.

Rubén is fluent in Spanish and English. Rubén currently lives in Atlanta with his wife where he enjoys playing tennis in his spare time.
